Antelias Conference to Unite Experts from Armenia, Artsakh, and Diaspora on Regional Developments

Experts from c, Artsakh, and the diaspora are set to gather at the Catholicosate of Cilicia for a two-day conference, under the blessing of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. The conference, convened with the aim of delving into Armenia's current affairs and regional developments, is scheduled to bring together distinguished professionals from Armenia, Artsakh, the U.S., South America, France, and Switzerland.
This significant event follows a series of online consultations conducted within the "Analysis and Awareness Platform" (AAP). The comprehensive agenda encompasses crucial topics such as countering Azerbaijan's historical distortions, exploring legal avenues for the collective return of Artsakh's indigenous people to their homeland, predicting shifts in the regional political landscape, strategizing the release of prisoners of war and abducted political leaders of Artsakh, and rallying international commitments to preserve Artsakh's spiritual and cultural heritage.
Key participants hailing from various regions include notable figures such as Prof. Ashod Melkonian, Prof. Rupen Safrasdian, and Dr. Armen Maroukian representing Armenia; Dr. Vahram Palayan from Artsakh; Dr. Hrayr Balian from the USA; Dr. Khatchig Der Ghougasian from South America; Tigran Yegavian from France; Dr. Vicken Cheterian from Switzerland. Representatives from Lebanon, including Dr. Nora Bayrakdarian and Mr. Shahan Kandaharian, along with Aharon Shekherdemian acting as the secretary, will also contribute to the discussions.
The conference serves as a vital platform for in-depth analysis, strategic planning, and international collaboration in addressing pressing issues concerning Armenia and its surrounding regions.
