Armenia's Under 22 boxing national team clinched remarkable victories at the UBC U22 European Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro, securing multiple medals, including the coveted gold in a thrilling finale.
Ruslan Aslikyan, competing in the 57kg category, showcased exceptional skill and talent, prevailing over Azerbaijani contender Azrak Babirov in the final showdown. Aslikyan dominated the ring, leaving no room for his opponent to mount a challenge, ultimately claiming the European Champion title for Armenia.
The Armenian contingent's success continued with Elida Kocharyan triumphing in the 60kg category, defeating Romanian boxer Andrea Marin to secure another gold medal for Armenia. Additionally, Rudolph Garboyan showcased incredible skill, securing a silver medal despite facing defeat in the final.
