Once again the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces reportedly launched gunfire towards Armenian combat outposts near Norabak. The incident, which occurred on August 27 around 11:30 p.m., has been confirmed by Armenia's Defense Ministry.
According to the official statement from Armenia's Defense Ministry, Azerbaijani armed forces units initiated the attack by firing from firearms at Armenian combat outposts situated near the town of Norabak. The sudden escalation in aggression has raised concerns over the fragile ceasefire that has been in place since the 2020 Artsakh war.
Armenia's Defense Ministry, in its report, did not provide further details regarding the extent of the damage caused or any potential casualties resulting from the attack. The incident marks a significant breach since the ceasefire agreement was brokered.
