Bezdik Kassab Law Group to Represent Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School Pro Bono in Eaton Fire Legal Claims

Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School has engaged Pasadena based Bezdik Kassab Law Group to support the school with its legal efforts and claims amidst the devastating Eaton Fires. 

The Eaton wildfires, which destroyed many parts of the Pasadena and Altadena communities, spread to Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School’s campus on January 8, desecrating everything except for an Armenian cross-stone (khachkar), which exemplifies strength and resilience.  The fires have displaced the student and faculty population, which serves preschool through 8th grade.  The school will relocate to the AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Cultural Center in Pasadena. 

The Bezdik Kassab Law Group, a Pasadena based boutique law firm lead by partners and longtime community activists and supporters Raffi Kassabian, Esq. and Sareen Bezdikian, Esq., will be tasked with representing the school’s interests as it navigates through various legal issues to support the school with its path towards rebuilding.

Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School has been a cornerstone of Altadena and the greater Armenian American educational and cultural community, embodying shared memories, traditions and a collective identity that binds generations together.
