Death Toll Rises to 34 as Azerbaijani Military Attacks Continue
The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh has released an update on the victims, revealing that seven more individuals have tragically lost their lives due to the relentless military bombings carried out by Azerbaijan. This grim development has pushed the total reported death toll from 27 to a staggering 34.
The victims of these recent Azerbaijani attacks include three women, two children, and two men. These heart-wrenching losses serve as a somber reminder of Azerbaijan’s aggression towards innocent civilians of Artsakh.
As of the same timestamp, 3 AM on September 20, 35 civilians in Artsakh have sustained injuries as a result of Azerbaijani military aggression. Among the wounded, 13 are children, 15 are women, and 7 are men.
It is worth noting that prior reports had already indicated over 200 individuals injured as a consequence of the relentless bombings, showcasing the extent of the suffering experienced by the people of Artsakh.
On September 19, Azerbaijan began a large-scale military attack on the civilian population of Artsakh, also known as Nagorno-Karabakh. Thousands of people have fled their homes, thousands are in bunkers, and hundreds are injured due to the Azerbaijani crimes.
