Hayastan All Armenian Fund's 'For You, Armenia' Telethon Set for November 23 Thanksgiving Day
The Hayastan All Armenian Fund is gearing up to host its annual telethon, titled "For You, Armenia," scheduled to take place on November 23. The primary objective of this year's event is to address the pressing humanitarian needs of individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
With a focus on alleviating the immediate humanitarian crises faced by those affected by the conflict, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund aims to extend its support to displaced families from Artsakh. The foundation is dedicated to upholding its ongoing mission of fostering the development of border communities while providing assistance to those who have been displaced.
"This year's telethon, 'For You, Armenia,' is a testament to our continuous commitment to developing border communities and extending support to our fellow Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh," stated a spokesperson from the Hayastan All Armenian Fund.
The foundation's efforts are centered on addressing urgent humanitarian needs, ensuring a dignified standard of living for displaced families, and revitalizing border communities. To achieve these goals, the Fund plans to prioritize initiatives aimed at improving living conditions for displaced individuals. Alongside providing immediate emergency assistance, the foundation is also gearing up to implement medium and long-term projects tailored specifically for displaced families resettled in rural areas.
Through the telethon, the Hayastan All Armenian Fund aims to raise crucial funds and garner support from both local and international communities to sustain and expand their humanitarian initiatives. The event will serve as a platform to unite efforts in extending aid to those affected by the ethnic cleansing and war in Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasizing the importance of collective support in times of crisis.
