Henrikh Mkhitaryan Crowned Best Footballer in Armenia for 2023

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the admired midfielder of Italian club Inter, has been hailed as the best footballer in Armenia for the year 2023, as officially declared by the Football Federation of Armenia following a comprehensive voting process.

Scoring an impressive 81 points, Mkhitaryan secured this coveted title, marking his remarkable 11th occasion receiving the prestigious Footballer of the Year award. Expressing his gratitude, Mkhitaryan took to his Facebook page, stating, "2023 Footballer of the Year for the 11th time! Thank you Armenia."

Eduard Spertsyan, a midfielder representing both the Armenian national team and Krasnodar, secured the second position with 48 points, showcasing his significant contributions to the sport.

Claiming the third spot was Lucas Zelarayan, another influential midfielder from the Armenian national team and Al-Fateh, garnering 21 points in the overall voting.
