Kevin Spacey's portrayal of Francis Joseph Underwood in the American adaptation of "House of Cards" has left a lasting mark on popular culture. Underwood, a character known for his ruthless ambition, rises from the position of Democratic Majority Whip in the United States House of Representatives to President of the United States. Throughout the series, Underwood is depicted as a master manipulator who employs treachery, deception, and even murder to achieve his goals. His character has been described as conniving, Machiavellian, and a symbol of political corruption, making him one of television’s most notorious anti-heroes.

As the United States gears up for a significant election season, with Joe Biden and Donald Trump as the main candidates, Khachatryan's question about Underwood's potential political alignment was particularly timely. However, Spacey skillfully avoided the political fray, leaving the audience to ponder which candidate Underwood would have supported.

Spacey's visit to Yerevan and his interaction with the local audience was a highlight of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival, offering a rare glimpse into the mind of an actor who has portrayed one of the most complex characters in recent television history.

As for Frank Underwood’s hypothetical choice in the upcoming election, the mystery remains, inviting our readers to speculate and debate.
